Meet  Emily Rechtzigel

  • Trail running, hiking, and camping are my favorite ways to recharge.

  • I’ve been to 12 national parks (and I’m not done yet!).

  • I love Harry Potter… but have never actually read the books.

  • I live for the cozy seasons—fall and winter are my top 2.

  • Getting creative in the kitchen and trying new recipes always lights me up.

  • Currently dreaming of growing a big, beautiful garden someday.

I’m a firm believer that laughter and deep reflection both belong in the therapy room.

Life can be a lot—messy, beautiful, confusing, sometimes all at once. My role is to help you slow down, make sense of it all, and see the strengths you already bring to the table.

Whether we’re talking about all anxious thoughts, your kid’s big feelings, or why childhood to adulthood can feel like a never-ending race, I’ll meet you with curiosity, playfulness, humor, and realness—so you can feel steady, and confident in your path forward.

Clients describe me as grounded, authentic, and (believe it or not) pretty funny.

I’ll help you look at things from new angles, celebrate your wins, and hold space for the hard stuff. Some days we’ll go deep, other days, we’ll laugh through it. Either way, my goal is to have you leave feeling seen, supported, challenged, and equipped for all of life’s ups and downs.
